COMPONENT 1: ARTICULATION |

| Goal | To provide comprehensive articulated program opportunities that enable students to possess the occupational, technical, academic and workforce skills required to enter higher education remediation free, and/or enter the employment market. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives |
To explore the possibility of adding additional articulation program clusters at CAC. complete (2) two additional articulation clusters Continue the organization of annual (January) articulation review day/workshop Logistics, Invitations, Agenda and Program Planned To document student benefits resulting from articulation efforts. |

| COMPONENT 2: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/TECHNOLOGY | |||
| Goal
|
To provide on going tailored professional development opportunities, which support all aspects of the Arizona Tech Prep Initiative. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives |
To coordinate at least two (2) professional development activities for the consortium To document 51-75% member schools participation in offered trainings. |
||
|
· Increase networking opportunities between high school teachers and CAC who teach the same subject in order to support each other and share ideas. |

|
· To annually inventory professional development needs of our consortium. |
|||
|
COMPONENT 3: PARTNERSHIPS/WORK PLACE LEARNING |

| Goal | To increase the interactive relationships between constituencies to provide all students the opportunity for quality learning activities within articulated occupational programs. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives |
To develop a model for work based learning experiences which can be implemented in small, rural areas To expand job shadowing, mentors, and career exploration opportunities by 20%. |

COMPONENT 4: Promotion/Information/Education/Recruitment (PIER) |
|||
| Goal | To increase awareness, understanding and participation of all stakeholders in the Tech Prep Initiative through the development and distribution of multiple marketing strategies. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives |
To ensure name recognition for Tech Prep throughout the consortium. To have a Tech Prep "feature" once each month in local newspapers and web links. |
||
|
· Encourage insertion of link to TP websites in all Pinal County educational, governmental, chamber and municipality websites. |
|||
|
· To develop a promotional multi-media campaign on the PCTPC. |
|||
|
COMPONENT 5: SPECIAL POPULATIONS/EQUITY/NONTRADITIONAL CAREERS (SP/E/NT) |
|||
| Goal | To incorporate special populations/equity/nontraditional philosophies and ensure access into all Tech Prep activities and programs. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives |
To increase the participation of special population students by 15%. To establish criteria for Tech Prep scholarships for students who pursue non-traditional careers. |
||

COMPONENT 6: EVALUATION |
|||
| Goal | To determine the level of success of the Tech Prep Initiative throughout the State of Arizona as measured through the collective evaluation of all consortia and statewide activities. | ||
| 5 Year Plan Objectives
|
To receive a quarterly team report from all partner schools in September, December, March, and May. Establish and create a job description and TP responsibilities for coordinators. To improve at least 10% in each 4 Star Evaluation category. |
